As the days go by, we are faced with more and more stories of crimes and misfortunes experienced by women, children and families of our blessed nation.

These are no longer cases we only see on shows such as Law and Order, CSI and those alike. They have now become a scary reality for so many of us. And for those who have not had to deal with it personally, the possibility of this horror falling upon you causes tremendous stress and panic.

I am a woman...a mother and I  was thought to be independent and to walk the streets as if I was invincible but as each day passes and as I absorb the daily news of yet another woman  attacked or another child hurt or killed, that feeling  of invincibility is slowly being diminished and I know am not alone.

 It is my sole purpose to use the forum of this blog to educate other women and even men on the various ways we could take control of protecting ourselves and our loved ones especially our children. Helping you to, "Take Charge...Your safety is your concern."
